Increase max number of charaters in Tooltip

Sometimes there is a need for comments to show up but you do not want to add a column for it and would like users to see extra comments in the tooltip instead. Currently the sentences get cut off if it exceeds max # of characters defined by Spotfire

Add Contour Plot/Surface Plot Visualization

This type of visualization is great for visualizing a response against 2 variables. Current visualization can sort of do this, but not nearly as usable as a surface plot. I often resort to building the data in a cross table and exporting to Excel ...

"All" Selection on dropdown filter

Similarly to how (None) can be added, allow us to add "All" to a dropdown filter. When selected, the field is unfiltered. A major client is requesting this.

Ability to Overlay two Charts

The user would like to has the ability to create a combination chart that has two areas, one for a scatter plot (or a trend chart) and one for a histogram. This is pretty useful, and almost all other statistical analysis systems have this option.

Text Area dimensions: Reduce the minimum height of the Text Area. Also, have option to remove scroll bar from text area.

Attached image shows a drop-down property control with font size = 10. There is too much padding between the property control and the bottom border of the text area. Please allow for the minimum height of the Text Area to be half of what it is now...

Create maps from MapInfo files

I have maps files built using MapInfo and I would like to import these maps in Spotfire in the same way I can import Shapefiles. My MapInfo files extensions are: .TAB, .DAT, .IND, .MAP, .ID

central alignment of KPI chart content

I hope there is a function to customize the location of the contents of the KPI chart. It is now fixed to the left alignment. I would like to be able to align the center and the right.
