Data function management UI consistency

Which UI to go to in order to do different things with data functions? Not clear/obvious currently. Many frustrations with these UI's. How is it clear that "Run" also registers? And then this isn't where I go afterwards to edit the data function

Can we hide the menu bar in web player?

When a user opens a report, is it possible to hide the menu bar at the top of the screen? The user doesn't require it, it takes up screen real estate and often times users inquire about why various features have been enabled/disabled.
