Give users access to Information links without worrying about or having to give them access/display the underlying elements.
"Some of the end users are getting the message in the link decription as per:
"Some elements previously added to the Information Link can no longer be found"
This is because I thought I could move the infomation links to a higher domain in the hierachy and hide the sub folders containing the column definitions by taking away the read access .. (but it seems I can't)
I would like to have a simpler, flatter hierarchy of information link choices for the spotfire end users.
i.e. I can move the information link items up to be under the top level domain (per database)
I.e. what I would like the end users to see would be simply:
COOPPROD – Geoscience (domain)
PLDB – Exploration (information link)
Well Production Summaries (information link)
DUFFPROD – Brisbane OFM data (domain)
OFM Monthly Production data (information link)
ECPROD – Production Allocation (domain)
Daily Production – String Level – Gas Wells (information link)
Daily Production – String Level – Oil Wells (information link)
Daily Production – Surface Facilities (information link)
Production Test Results (information link)
{etc}
i.e. I would like the domains that hiold the columns to be hidden ..
