On using date hierarchies, is Spotfire's definition of a WEEK's start and end days (e.g., Monday to Sunday) entirely dependent on the regional settings of the computer being used?
We have a bar chart that presents the weekly volume of IT service requests we receive. Our reports require that a week's start day should be on a Monday.
We previously ran the analysis in the Spotfire server, where, in the Regional Settings, a week is set to start on a Monday. So there is no issue with that. However, when the analysis is opened on a client computer via Web Player or on Spotfire Professional, the volume of each bar would be different to what the analysis would look like if it was ran in the server . It turns out that the regional settings of the computers of our web player users are, by default, uses Sunday as the first day of the week. Thus, the weekly volume that they see on the web player would be inaccurate (Example: volume received on last Sunday is incorrectly added to the current week's volume).
Our weekly reports need to use Monday as a starting day. Is there a way for us to set this inside Spotfire Professional or the server?
Expected : To allow or provide config settings to control date/time display settings (like start day of the week) to be handled by user itself from within spotfire professional or from with in the server
