I want to use different versions of Spotfire at the same time.

    There is now a separate portable analyst client available in the Spotfire Analyst distribution that can be installed side-by-side with the main Spotfire Analyst installation.

    We have Spotfire deployed in mutliple departments. It is not possible and desirable to migrate all departments to a new Major Spotfire version at the same time. Our users work in projects with different departments, but can only have one version of Spotfire Analyst installed on their machine.

    This makes it simply impossible to do any kind continuous migration to a new version of Spotfire.

    Thus, we are still locked on version 7.0, because nobody will go ahead and migrate to version 7.6.
