We currently initially query the data source for all its content, after setting up a new in-database connection. This can longer than wanted, if the underlying data store contains a large volume of items. So the customer would like to be able to filter here already, to only bring in the relevant items while configuring the source to add the data wanted.
If what is described here is meant to be the equivalent of the "Filter" option in information links or alternatively defining default values for "Define Prompting" such that no user input is required this is exactly what we'd need, too.
