Ability to mark grand total or subtotal

On a cross table, I'd like a feature that would allow the user to click on the Sub total or grand total cell mark the corresponding data. Currently, if a subtotal is made up of 100 rows in the visualisation, the user has to mark those 100 rows which is not very user friendly.
