WHAT: There is no easy way to export an embedded Data Function as an SFD file. Two workarounds exist (save to the Library, then reload, and export) or click Copy in the Data Function Properties dialog. Both workarounds get you to the Register Data Functions dialog, where you can export. There should be a way to directly Export a Data Function as an SFD, either from Data Functions Properties dialog or from the Edit Script dialog.
WHY: Important part of the workflow for creating and working with Data Functions offline. We have all the other pieces (import and edit offline), but not this.
