Word wrap in tables - including cross tables

"Would like to wrap texts in the table and thus column names take up space in the template....thus making it difficult to view the whole table in a given instant."

"The data that gets populated on the fly, the length of the words/labels in the table vary and thus we are looking at the ability for it to word wrap only if it exceeds the width or column height....like the functionality in excel."
Implemented in 7.6

Hello Madhyam, sorry I missed your comment earlier. Anyhow, perhaps we misunderstood your question but for sure both headers and data rows may word wrap? I made a screenshot with Spotfire 10.1 and attached it. But perhaps this is not what you were looking for?

    Hello,

The word wrap doesnt seem to be in place now that we check in 7.6, 7.11 or even X. There is a manual option when you right click -> resize or manually adjust the column/row width. But there is no auto wrap in place as we check for cross tables or tables

I have read this in another Community forum and seems the only way is to work it through a Py/script.

Please confirm if my understanding is correct or if there is something that I am missing here.

    Thanks,

    Madhyam
