Forward compatibility of DXP file format (i.e. support opening new DXP files in older versions of the DXP client)

When will DXP become forwardly compatible? I have lost count now of the number of times I have created an extensive analysis for a (prospective) I in DXP using my data, only then to find out that I cannot open the file because I are on a lower version of DXP.

Even if I had known in advance I would not be able to help I unless I deinstalled my current version (now 2.0) and reinstalled the older version. And I suspect it's not that easy either.

This is very frustrating for us people in the field who need to work with different versions in order to help I. This will only get worse as time sgoes on and more I are working productively with different versions of DXP.
