Allow users to unhook embedded data function from Spotfire library

If a user has a dxp file containing an embedded TERR data function that is synchronized with the Spotfire library, the path to the library is visible in the Data Function Properties dialog.  If the user makes a change to the local copy and saves without synchronizing, the same path remains visible in the Data Function Properties dialog, even though it is no longer synchronized.

If the user intends the local copy to be a new spin-off version, with no intention of synchronizing, it is misleading to display the stale link to the library.

  • It would be nice if the user can erase this link.
  • It would also be nice if the Data Function Properties dialog could display
    • Is this copy currently synchronized with the library?
    • Maybe a time stamp of the last time it was synchronized
    • Maybe an indicator of whether synchronization is even possible.   Sometimes enough changes are made that synchronization fails.  It would be great to have an indicator of this, and to erase the displayed non-functional link.
