Calculated Columns that Filter With Data

Calculated Columns are powerful but often not useful if they don't recalculated based on filtered data.  We've developed scrips to flag filtered records and calculate over that flag but this requires the user to click a button every time they filter the data.

    This is an important feature - Spotfire does not support scientific workflows very well and this is one important example. Can we please get some movement on this idea?

Option to have calculated columns that work on FIltered Data

When I create a calculated column, especially with OVER function, it always works on all of the rows of data in the table. Can we have an option where such calculated column only work on the filtered rows of data
