Any updates on this one when we can expect this one comes up it is very long pending . 7 yrs and no change in implementation is very frustrating.
The workaround using trellis is not useful when you use two or more tables in the Yaxis.
This is a big deal...We must fix this. Send ideas to work-a-round this.
There is a workaround for this, which is using trellis panel headers to display the total of all segments of the stacked bar. It can be achieved by using an expression on the trellis axis to compute the value and to concatenate it with the name of the category.
The expression I used was this: [Division] & " - " & Integer(Sum([Value]) OVER ([Division]))
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to visually display the total? Just replacing the current label with a total computed as the sum of the positive and negative segments could be equally confusing?
I ran into the same issue; it is very deceiving to the end user to have the totals separated. I hope this enhancement gets implemented soon. Thanks!
I think it is crazy to not have a total with the positive and negative numbers. It makes the stacked bar charts unusable when you have both positive and negative numbers.
I just ran into this issue, and I cannot believe they total separately. It makes absolutely no sense. This should be changed as soon as possible or another option provided.
