In some cases it would be very useful to have simple spreadsheet capabilities built into Spotfire.
Something like the current table view, but with the ability change to values of rows/columns (available e.g. only for embedded data).
This would go a long way in eliminating the extra step of using e.g. an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of manually entered data and sharing this in a workbook.
Furthermore the addition of spreadsheet capabilities like sum/avg etc. would make it possible to present the results of analyses without having to go to TERR or external tools for anything but the most trivial analysis.
Have you tested the replace value/all values transformation? It's available in the data panel and table plots.
