There is a checkbox when you first login to Spotfire Web Player, named 'Save my login information'. I (as an admin) would like the ability to disable this option for web player only so that when a web player user times out they have to re-enter their credentials. Such an ability would allow us to comply with our internal security polices without having to disable the 'Save my login information' on the full client tool and the web player.
Hi,
I've just found this idea while routinely reviewing ideas with very few votes.
I think you should be able to be compliant with your security policies with the help for example of config-sessions configuration command, which has been supported for a long time ago: https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/latest/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/config-sessions.html
For more information, see https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/latest/doc/html/TIB_sfire_server_tsas_admin_help/server/topics/absolute_session_timeout_and_idle_session_timeout.html.
Or, maybe you can explain why "Save my login information" should be handled in a different way by the desktop client and the web client. Isn't the final desired outcome to force a session timeout and force the user to login again, whichever the client they are using?
Thanks
