The filter panel contains the filters that have been set but it is very difficult to see which filters have been set in the application. I would like to have a Filter Bar below the menu to clearly see which filter have been. The variables for which a filter has been set in the filter panel should appear in the Filter Bar on top. It will not possible to show I assume how the filer has been set. But knowing on which variable a filter has been applied would be very helpful.
In Spotfire 7.0 we added a filter overview to the bottom of the filter panel where you can see a summary of which filters have been set, quickly modify those filters or remove them. The same overview was also introduced in the new Spotfire 7.0 data panel.
