(Python) API-enable Text Areas Merged

hi all, 

We have very large templates, with some 100+ tabs and some 600+ visuals, a large "application" and we're trying to document all DataLimits, expressions, since Spotfire does not seem to offer source-versioning capabilities.

We are currently able to document most of that, to a large extent, except stuff in the TextArea (see line 85 in the enclosed attachment).  It seems to me that there ought to be a way, or an enhancement to API-enable text areas, so that calculated values could also be documented.

any thoughts on what it would take to have textAreas API/Python enabled?
