As a Spotfire Administrator user would like to see the options to achieve the following features. It would be good to know if there are any workarounds and also would like to have it as part of new enhancement in upcoming releases. Here are the direct comments from him :
"1. Support for Rich text display on Table Visualization. Currently we have option like Link, or Image. It would be good to see Rich Text option as well.
2. Support for Word wrap and auto height adjustment in Table Visualization. Currently, we need to manually change the height of the content according to the content. If we have content like multiple lines, it is not displaying until we change the height of the row. It would be good that row height adopt according to the content lines.
3. Support for Vertical and Horizontal Alignment of Table header and rows.
I believe this is still not available
It is insane to me that I cannot change the vertical alignment of table rows to be "middle". Everything forced to the top??? I must be missing something.
Please please please implement auto fit for row height in tables and cross tables. This seems like basic functionality.
This would be fantastic, you could even set with Word Wrap, a "max row height" value to keep things neat, while also displaying more of the text than you can see today;
