The Spotfire user be great if the Auto-zoom feature would initially zoom onto the area of interest based on the last changes but still allow user to adjust zoom level afterwards.
E.g. Filter on an airport (lat long) and de-zoom and see the entire layout of that airport on the map. Having auto-zoom takes you to the airport but most of the times it is at a level that shows only part of the airport layout.
It would be very useful if there would be a way to apply auto-zoom only after an impacting change happens (filters, limiting marking, limiting property, data refresh, ...) and let users use navigation controls afterwards.

In Spotfire 7.10 we added ability to enable/disable Auto-Zoom mode directly from the map chart contextual menu. It is now much faster to switch between the 2 navigations modes.
