When specifying a column as a Link Renderer, we need the ability to mask the Text or provide an Alias for the link so that we can hide the actual text from the user. User should not be able to see or copy the URL.
you might think, this is only cosmetics, but it is actually improving usability for end users of a dashboard by removing unnecessary technical clutter on the page.
Also same capability would be useful for cross tables as requested in https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/SPF-I-661.
I would like to be able to set the text of the link to make it easier for users to use the link.

Using Custom Value Renderer API does not help, because it can only returm an image, not text and not a link and not HTML code.
We need HTML Renderer or an improved Link Renderer, which allows to set link text.
SO MUCH want to be able to build a link on one column based on an attribute from another column.
