Currently, you can add or remove pieces within a particular section of a data entry setup. If there are multiple sections (divided by separators) that have pieces, the other section do not automatically have their pieces added or deleted accordingly. Most of our data entry setups use separators to make the visual interface easier to navigate, but all input items should be considered together. The current functionality not only adds extra work for the data entry person to add/remove pieces to each section separately, it also makes it more likely for the data to get misaligned which could actually impact the proper interpretation of data. For example, if there were originally 3 pieces in each section and the 2nd piece was deleted from the first two sections, but not the last section, the data from the second piece of the third section would be interpreted as belonging to the second piece from the other sections, even though it really should have been deleted. Given that other users may benefit from the current functionality, we would recommend the addition of a setting when configuring a data entry setup that would enable this "Ignore separator for piece definition" option to be set on a setup by setup basis. Related to this is the desire to have scrolling be done across all sections so that the data in the different sections stay aligned. This could be controlled by the same option.
