Allow configurable WebSTATISTICA log file location

Currently, WebSTATISTICA writes sw*.log files to the fixed location:

C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\WebSTATISTICA

There is currently no configuration option in the WebSTATISTICA application or registry to change this location.

Please provide an option to configure the WebSTATISTICA log directory, so administrators can store logs on a dedicated drive instead of the system drive.

It would also be useful to have configurable log retention/rotation, such as maximum file size, number of log files to retain, or retention period.

Business Impact:
The log files can grow significantly over time and consume space on the system drive, which can affect server stability and scheduled WebSTATISTICA/Statistica jobs.

Requested Enhancement:

  • Configurable WebSTATISTICA log directory

  • Configurable log rotation/retention

  • Ideally configurable through WebSTATISTICA/Statistica Administration

  • Attach files
