Our security policy requires that all databases (specifically those on the public cloud) use dynamic secrets (rather than static credentials). Dynamic secrets are well suited to processes (e.g., Java, node.js, etc.) that are built using a pipeline. The pipeline allows the secret credentials to be injected into the application at deployment time so that no human handling of credentials is required. However this process doesn’t work for third party tools such as Data Virtualization.
Note - we have multiple customers who have been given 90 day exceptions - we need a resolution for this quite soon...
We need to have support for dynamic secrets
