SQL MERGE support for Oracle datasource

We are using Oracle for caching data in Composite 7.0.6. For implementing the incremental cache we were trying to use "MERGE" statement to selectively update data during sync process.

Currently Tibco Support confirmed that there is no support for MERGE statements using Oracle as Datasource.

    It was implemented in TDV 7.0.0 that released in Jan 2015.

    Posted this idea as requested by TIBCO Support team since they had mentioned that SQL MERGE is NOT supported in Oracle on composite 7.0.6.

     

    Could you please confirm if the MERGE SQL command will work on Composite 7.0.6 as the page number you have referred in the comment is seen in the ref guide of Composite V8 and not on 7.0.6.

    MERGE is supported for Oracle.  The syntax and examples in the reference guide on p. 524 should work.  We will look into updating the content so it is clearer that Oracle is supported.
