Our lower environments are clustered, and we would love to have version control enabled. Developers have no way to see the history of their views. This makes it difficult to identify what all has changed, aka what all they need to request be moved to production to implement their change.
Even on production, to have an easy way to revert to the previous version would give us great peace of mind. Right now we are constantly scared of making irreversible changes, so we create copies of objects.
This has to be implement sooner because now client use DV on a enterprise scale where they have multi-cluster environment and they really want this feature to be available as earliest.
Rajesh, the 8.6.0 admin guide says "Version control for TDV does not support clusters."
This can be done right now in TDV.
PVCS is supported in TDV.
This NEEDS to be a feature for me to use Spotfire over PowerBI.
