Client Application Identification

We would like to be able to identifying the names of the client apps connecting to DV. For example, I have seen in Oracle RDMS you can use v$session and it will give some clues to what client tool is being used (i.e. TOAD.exe, MSAccess.exe etc.).

Would it be possible to get something equivalent to that in TDV?
