Because of the security of the Korean finance domain, they do not give users creating table permission. Thus, we can't use the data ship feature because the data ship requires a creating authority. We must use the data ship feature to satisfy the client's performance requirements. We propose a feature of creating a local temp table instead of creating the table in data ship since creating a local temp table does not require creating permission. Our client uses Vertica and Exadata databases. Most Korean Bank follows the same strict policy, which would not allow creating table permissions for individual users. This feature is critical for us to extend TDV business in Korea.
Thanks for raising this. Can you please provide some more information about the adapters used to connect to databases as well as the versions of the adapters? This will help us review the compatibility and identify the path forward.
