Publish a flat file directory data source in a single publish operation

For most data sources, it is possible to publish the entire data source by right-clicking it and selecting Publish.  However, this is not possible for flat-file directory data sources.  This would be extremely useful for customers who, for example, subscribe to flat file data that comes from third-party sources (most financial services firms do this).  New files come into this directory on a daily or weekly basis, and many customers want to make them visible as pass-through data from DV.  They want this process to be automatic.  Datasource Publish capability along with scheduled reintrospection would make this possible.
