Enhance speed for library navigation and library search Merged

Our library is very big, with hundreds of folders on ten thousands of files. Navigating the library takes way too much time in the Spotfire analyst and Spotfire webplayer. This also heavily affects the search, which sometimes becomes even unresponsive.
I was told by the support team that the Spotfire library database is searched / accessed every time for those actions And a very large database will result in longer load times. Thus, this behavior is expected.

I suggest to add some state-of-the-art file indexing for the Spotfire library to enhance the navigation and search in the analyst and webplayer. Any time a file is created or updated, the index will update, too. This should tremendously speed up the tasks. Overall, this would have a large impact on our user experience.
