When using Web Player library templates in a template-in-template configuration, navigating between tabs/templates causes the embedded template to reinitialize every time it is opened. For example, a user may open the "A" template, apply filters and selections, then navigate to the "B" template and later return to "A" template. Upon returning, the template reloads and all previously applied filters, selections, and context are lost. This requires users to repeatedly reapply filters and disrupts workflows that involve frequent navigation between templates. We would like an enhancement that provides an option to persist the template-in-template session state when switching between tabs, such as a "Do Not Re-Initialize" or "Keep Session Open" setting, so that filters, markings, and other user selections remain intact until the user explicitly refreshes or resets the template.
Hi Paul,
sorry about the delay. As I understand your idea, you would like a users filtering and markings to remain between sessions with the same analysis. This is what the setting "Remember personalized views for each web player user" is intended to do. You find it under Document properties/Library. Let me know if this does not fulfill your Idea.
