Miklas - that's correct. We frequently use dropdowns (as they use far less screen estate). A drop down filter control would be better still.
Janine, when you are writing "Drop down filter", are you referring to the drop down property control? And in that case, is that a workaround for the none-existence of a drop down filter?
Add "ALL" as a row and use data limit to restrict data.
