Automation Services permissions control Merged

Some Spotfire environments are used for different teams, a new permissions control for Automation service is definitely required.
We need a possibility to limit actions allowed to the Automation job according to the library privileges and access of the certain user who is calling for job to be executed.
Absence of this function causes a serious security problems or impossibility to use Automation services on the shared Spotfire environment at all.

I've been informed by support that this is "by design" and therefore an enhancement request. I personally see this as a "design bug" given that the design is basically unusable for regular users and have informed support, but also voting and commenting here to see if we can get this implemented...

It's possible for users to run jobs within the automation job builder and have the appropriate permissions used. But, if you submit jobs to run on the server they run under a special service account that has administrative level access - so the "submit to server" function is largely unusable in a real environment.
