Map chart should not freeze if a WMS service is unavailable

G'day,

We recently encountered a problem when using WMS layers in a map chart: the WMS service was unavailable resulting in the map chart freezing indefinitely.

There needs to be some sort of timeout parameter such that if the WMS layer can't be fetched in a timely fashion then a warning is displayed in the map chart.

There doesn't appear to be a preference or other setting that allows this timeout to be configured.
