Additional connectors to make data integration across on-premise and amazon easier

connecting data across public and private cloud environments is quite a challenge, but data connectors in the tool would make it easier.  It would be great if Spotfire had connectors for Amazon's EMR and S3 data sources, as well and the open source app called Presto for data integration.  I have noticed other BI tools in this space have at least two of these.

    Spotfire 7.13 supports EMR. It's in our direction to add the.other sources listed, for example S3 files via Drill. Please reach out to me at tblomber@tibco.com if you have any other questions or concerns!

    i have not seen any movement in this area for Spotfire.  The point releases have been enhancing current connectors, but not adding new ones.   Is there planning for the new virtualization platform to take the place of Spotfire connectors?
