Method/Call to show in report when data was last loaded

We would like a way to display on the report when the report data was last loaded.(in the case of a schedule update, it would be when the schedule happens)

We have two different approximate ones, but in both cases they don’t come close:
1) Find the main table, and find a date record that is representative of data that is updated, find the max of this record. (This is not good, because if there’s no new records, it implies the report is stale)
2) Use the DateTimeNow() function, but this displays when the report was opened on Spotfire web player.

    Hi Harold, thanks for sharing this great idea. Today you can view the last reload time on each data source in the Source View. The time is updated with scheduled updates as well.
