In regression modeling, for Predictor Columns, I would like to be able to use both methods simultaneously when some variables are Linear and some variables are Reciprocal.

And I would like to have a V Shape or a U Shape because I often have Optimum conditions.

    Song, can you please describe in a bit more detail  what you need related to V Shape and U Shape? Feel free to add a powerpoint or image or so if that helps explain it.
