Export Conversations

I'm designing a dashboard and the team using it will be making a lot of notes with the Conversation tool. The team hasn't asked for this yet, but it would be great if the conversations from dashboards could be exported into something along the lines of an Excel sheet. The conversation tool is nice, but it isn't comprehensive. From my understanding, you post a comment and others can reply directly. You can distinguish which tab the conversations are on. Other than those things, you can't really do much more. So if you wanted some way of tracking these conversations, you can't do it within the program. Therefore, being able to export them would be of great use. Now if you wanted to enhance the conversation system, that would be great. But until then, just having access to the data would be of great help.

Analytics plays major role to take the efficient business decisions in various use cases. Upon reviewing/exploring the dashboard, the business users collaborate with each other through the conversation tool to share their wide view of the observations on the insights. If we have an export option for this conversation, this will help users to review their earlier perception about the dashboard data points for their future iteration to optimize their solution design. I strongly recommend this feature which will be a great breakthrough for Tibco Spotfire.

Has there been any updates to this? Exporting conversations would be extremely beneficial for my application.

Just following up on this. Would you still be interested in the use-case?

Robert, would you have 20 minutes to discuss collaboration and your use-case with me?
