Hi,
When exporting from the Desktop client, the option to Export to Open Presentation is very useful. You can build a PPT file with several exports without a large number of .ppt files that need to be combined into one by copying and pasting slides. This feature is lacking in the webplayer, making it awkward for the user community to efficiently compile exports into one .ppt presentation.

MIA Solutions has the tool called "MIA Template Exporter" that allows extended exporting (ppt, html, pdf) - via creating own document templates enriched with charts/tables/properties/etc. from Spotfire + a lot of functionality in addition for automation services - like "report bursting" and WebPlayer exporting.
So you will not need to generate multiple ppts and compile them manually into one. You will just setup the ppt template and you can export nice ppt at once (even in automated fashion and get the ppt via E-Mail).
