Allow filled vs hollow markers

Is it feasible to control whether a marker is filled or hollow? I understand from tech support that it's not.  It would be useful for highlighting certain data, particularly if it could be used for marked rows.

Sorry for the untimely response, I seem to have missed your reply back then. I kind of assume you moved on from this but for anyone else reading this one can use the shape axis to define the shapes, if needed based on a custom expression (or subsets) like I did in this screenshot.

Using the subsets feature it is actually possible to change the shape of the marked data as well:

Thanks Niklas - It's good to hear SF can support hollow markers afterall. Can you clarify how I can access them in a scatterplot?  TIA!

Hi Heather, there are hollow marker types as well as filled ones, but there is no way to change the marker type for the marked rows if that is your primary use case? (See below for how to change the shape of marked rows)
