As an admin and developer I would like to know exactly what our users are doing inside the reports. We often put a lot of useful visualizations on multiple tabs within one single dxp. We would like to know where our end users spend most of their time without asking each user individually (15,000+). If we can track the navigation and clicks performed within the report then we can get a better feel for how our users are using the report and develop accordingly. Our users access the reports via the web player but the same use case could apply to client as well. In addition to helping with future development, it may also help trouble shoot when users encounter errors and the steps leading up to it.
