I see that clarification would help here. There are several things that can use some focus.
#1: With touch gestures, the Windows users should get the same experience as Android/iOS users. At the moment, Windows users can pan, scroll, and left-click a cell, but they can't do a left/right swipe, or multi-select cells.
#2: With a user that has both a mouse and touchscreen, and they're accessing a dashboard via the web-player, they're forced to choose between mouse input or touchscreen input. Couldn't they use both? It makes a multi-cell select much easier to perform.
I don't have a windows tablet to test if already implemented but lasso would also be a cool feature.
Thank you for sharing your input, especially noted for the windows tablets. In the Spotfire mobile apps for Apple iOS and Android you can swipe left/right to navigate between pages and double tap maximizes/minimizes the visualization you tap on. What further touch gestures do you think should be supported?
Scrolling in tables for Windows tablets would improve user experience.
