Another idea is to be able to add, append or prepend custom values when selecting "column selection" or "unique values" (and maybe custom range) as per the conceptual attached image.
Instead of having the checkbox "include (None) alternative" it could be "Include other alternatives" or "add additional values" to add fixed (or custom expression) values.
When the "include other alternatives" checkbox is active, additional configuration options appears as per the conceptual screenshot.
