'Excel like' custom expression: floating short description that will select the whole element on click

Hello,

In Excel, when a formula is being edited a floating menu appears. This is something like '=sum(numer1;[number2])'. I am more interested in the functionality of this since the description is very easily found.

It may not sound as much but by clicking on 'number1' argument if it will select all actual argument this would be very helpful when working with complex expressions and nested functions/conditions (not referring to 'Nest' function)

For example, if I would have something like 'Sum(If([Series]="Real",[SBValue],0)) as [Real]', when clicking on '1' from the function's description 'Sum(1,2,3)' it would select <If([Series]="Real">.

I am hopping this would be a nice little feature for SPOTFIRE.

Thank you for your work!
