In many cases, I would like to set default filters, and there is no out of the box way to do it, it requires some code that my client (and I) want to avoid.
for exemple, I need to show by default only the open tickets, but don't want to prevent end users from looking at the closed ones, or I need to show only a few weeks of history by default, but end users must be able to add more weeks in the weeks filter if they want to.
