Hortonworks connector, custom ODBC "Server Side Properties"

When using the Hortonworks Hive ODBC driver, in the DSN setup:Advanced Options:Server Side Properties we can set key-value properties such as "tez.queue.name=QueueName". In our organization this is mandatory to utilize Hive in any meaningful way. It would be great if this could be configured in the Hortonworks connector interface itself. Currently, we have to tell users to not use the Hortonworks connector and instead use generic ODBC to connect to Hive.
