Indeed this is the place for new feature requests to be considered but I wouldn't get your hopes up since there are workarounds for your idea.
The purpose of this portal is to report "ideas" for feature requests.

However, it would be grand if search by full name could be a feature in the base product administration manager capabilities.

You could also build your own report using the USERS table and have a Spotfire report on top of this data.

The Users & Groups app does allow you to search on display name (there's a radio button above the search field that indicates which field to search). The Administration Manager in the Spotfire Analyst does not however.
