For all charts, allow the visualization to zoom to marked items, then zoom out when unmarked. Also allow a "locking" toggle feature in the visualization properties. If "lock" was enabled, then as a chart auto-zoomed, one would not be able to pan/zoom around. If lock was disabled, then the visualization would auto-zoom to the marked area, but the user could still pan/zoom around the visualization afterwards.
