Selected data input values should turn up in a list of selected values

In case you have to select data input variables from a (very) long list of variables, it is difficult to keep track of all the values you have selected using the ctrl-button. Therefore, whenever you select an input variable, it should be made vissible in a fixed list of selected variables.
