With Spotfire 7.10 a new PDF export dialog was introduced improving usability by simplifying configuration and also adding a preview.
But in the new dialog the option to include filter settings is no longer available compared to previous PDF export dialog. PDF export is used to document or archive the content of your dashboard, but if filter settings are not shown in the PDF export, this would create the wrong picture.
The option to PDF export to include filter settings is critical for us and should even be default. Applied filters change the content of what is shown in the visualization and not being transparent about what filters are applied would let you take wrong business decisions.

So then I hope it is not too much work to bring it to the main Export to PDF dialog from Prepared Report configuration? Annotations are already an option in both dialogs. Hopefully you can add Filtered Values, too.
Hi Holger, in the new PDF export there is a new capability called "prepared reports" (introduced in Spotfire 7.12). In a prepared report you are able to include the filter settings in any of the header fields.
Interestingly Spotfire API 10.2 still lists a property IncludeFilterSettings.
