Would like to know if this maximize visualization is still not disabled. At least, we would like to disable the maximize visualization for text areas as we have multiple text areas are created in single page of Spotfire.
Might I suggest automatically hiding the "Maximize visualization" button when there is only one visualization on a page?
In embedding scenario's that is often the case and we also get questions from confused users about the 'Maximize visualisation' button that doesn't seem to work. Having a maximize button when there is only one visualization doesn't make sense anyway so this might be a significant but simple solution.
There is currently no API or configuration option to hide the "Maximize visualization" icon, but a valid workaround may be to hide the visualziation title bar (which is done in the properties dialog).
